[A possessive emperor who would defy the world for love]
[Strong female lead + unhinged romance]
The male lead, Shen Ji, begins as a good and reasonable ruler who puts his people first. Then Warmth arrives from another time, and he sinks into a quagmire called love. Mad with passion, he spends his whole life seeking redemption, only to realize too late that Warmth is within his reach, yet forever beyond it.
Warmth, a top student with two majors in the 21st century, is betrayed just before graduation by the boyfriend she has been with for five years. He only wanted to swindle her out of the enormous life insurance payout she would leave behind.
Reborn, she transmigrates into the body of the legitimate daughter of a general’s household. The original owner should have lived a happy life, but after enduring one hardship after another, she met an untimely end.
Since Warmth has taken over the original owner’s identity, she must see justice done for her. A vicious princess makes things difficult for her, and her calculating younger sister schemes against her. Warmth keeps her abilities under wraps. Watch how she builds a world of her own in this fictional dynasty: opening restaurants and taking on wicked women. She may not have exceptional medical skills to save the world, but she has the ambition to help it.
But things don’t go as planned. Just as Warmth’s business is booming, a palace banquet throws all her plans into disarray and shows her how helpless women are in this dynasty. As she spends time with the young emperor, Shen Ji, feelings slowly begin to grow between them.
“Warmth, since you’ve entered my life, don’t let go of me so easily, all right?”
“Warmth, I’ll change, just as you wish. Please don’t leave me.”
At first, the male lead is cold and deeply suspicious of the female lead’s identity. Later, after falling in love with her, he finds redemption. What he experienced in his youth only makes him more and more unhinged.
