Everything, including the novel's setting, is fictional. Serious OOC, so beware. This is an original novel.
The main couples are Jack the Ripper and Mercenary, Photographer and Embalmer, Antiquarian and Prospector, Gardener and Doctor, Hermit and Prisoner, Batter and Toy Merchant, and Cheerleader and Acrobat. Some other minor pairings will appear later.
That said, once the first world ends, this work will start a new one, much like a new book. That should make things easier, too.
It all began with a certain chance encounter.
Where exactly is that being?
That being is everywhere.
