That Ray of Light Was Truly Meant for Me

[Mutual Devotion / Love at First Sight / Campus / Sweet Romance]

She came from an ordinary family. Reserved and insecure, she was quiet and not much of a people person.

He was the pampered young master of the Shen family, one of the capital's elite: gifted, sunny, and confident.

Their lives had never crossed, like two parallel lines, until they met in their senior year of high school. They went from strangers to curious about each other, then to falling in love. Only after he lost her did he realize just how much he loved her.

She thought he was only playing around. After all, someone like her didn't deserve love or happiness. She was afraid to give him her heart and couldn't bring herself to trust him.

Her university acceptance letter was hidden from her. Her family kicked her out. Then he broke his promise. Unable to bear it all, she broke down in tears and tried to take her own life.

When the truth came out, people called her a homewrecker. His heart ached for her. He knew he had been terribly wrong. From then on, he treated her with care and loved her wholeheartedly, never letting her get hurt again.

Only then did she realize that his love at first sight had never been a game. His love for her had been ardent and unwavering from the very beginning.

To marry her, he gave her all his assets, just so he could work for her.

Holding a red rose, he knelt on one knee and asked, “Yaoyao, will you marry me?”

The heroine grows into a more confident and outgoing person.

The hero changes too, becoming so devoted to loving and spoiling her that he turns obsessive.
