General Yum Zhukov was born into a shoemaker's family in Kaluga Province, southwest of Moscow, on February 2, 896. He was drafted into the army at the age of nine and participated in World War I. He was awarded two George Cross Medals for his meritorious service in combat. The year after the October Revolution broke out, Zhukov joined the Red Army and was promoted from soldier to company commander during the battle with Kolchak's White Army. After that, he studied many times, first graduating from the cavalry training class in 1920, then graduating from the cavalry commander's training class in 925, and then graduating from the commander's class in 930. After that, he successively served as commander of the cavalry brigade, assistant to the Cavalry Supervision Department, commander of the 4th Cavalry Division, commander of the 3rd and 6th Cavalry Corps, and deputy commander of the Bai Special Military Region. On the Soviet-German battlefield in World War II, Zhukov was present in almost every battle. Once he appears on the battlefield, the Soviet army will either reverse the situation and win the victory in an unfavorable situation; or they will move forward and carry out the victory to the end.
