Sheng Xuhuan is a neurosurgeon at Southeast Hospital. After the Fu family plays matchmaker, she is forced to marry the second son of the family, Fu Xianglai. The two have only met a few times before their families arrange the marriage.
No one can be sure they'll be able to make a life together.
Fu Xianglai has an old flame who returns to the country a few months after his wedding.
A lot of people tell him that love at first sight based on looks can't compare to a sincere relationship. Everyone knows Fu Xianglai married Sheng Xuhuan because of her looks...
“Did you know CEO Fu's full name is Fu Xianglai? Xianglai, Xianglai. And his ex-girlfriend's name also has the character 'lai' in it.”
“Huanhuan, do you want a divorce? His ex-girlfriend is back.”
“Sure. What, am I supposed to wait for them to get back together?”
Until one day, Fu Xianglai corners Sheng Xuhuan at the private room door.
“Sheng Xuhuan, I don't like her anymore. Why are you asking for a divorce?”
“...I'm not sure I believe you, Mr. Fu.”
