Sanchakou (Original Work of the Movie "The Door" Starring Chen Kun & Yang Mi)

I stayed up all night and finished reading this novel. In fact, I originally planned to read this novel because I have been addicted to Zhou Dedong's works recently. A few days ago, I suddenly learned that "Sanchakou" is the original work of "The Door" directed by Li Shaohong. I vaguely remember watching this movie on TV in middle school seven or eight years ago. I only remember that the male protagonist has been renovating the house and the female protagonist is Yang Mi. Out of curiosity about the original movie, I came to read this book. This book has almost nothing to do with the movie version except for the names of the characters in it. The movie version is actually okay, but the twists and turns of the plot and the enjoyment of it are far inferior to the book. The reversals and foreshadowings in it are very clever. Although there are several times when the mystery is about to be revealed, the truth comes to light, but overall the writing is sophisticated, the plot is very bright, and it is still very interesting to watch. Maybe it's because the novel was finished more than 20 years ago, so it feels full of the times ^_^
