Chen Ping'an's mother signs him up for a dating show. Just before filming begins, one of the male contestants drops out, and Chen Ping'an successfully takes his place, unexpectedly gaining a System. The first few chapters mainly follow how Chen Ping'an changes after gaining the System, then move on to how he meets, gets to know, and falls in love with a female contestant on the show.
