[This book avoids stale tropes and filler, blending mystery and adventure, urban horror, wild imaginings inspired by Journey to the West, and science fiction. With over a million words already written and continuous updates, this is a tale of technological and cultivation civilizations colliding in a Journey to the West-inspired adventure.]
Shocking discovery: An undersea expedition revives the White Bone Demon from ages past, and she becomes my demon pet!
The ruins of an ancient underwater city turn out to be the South Sea Dragon Palace of old, but every clue points to it being the remains of an alien civilization...
I called down a bolt of lightning to strike me, intending only to ward off evil. I never expected it to let a super AI enter my soul and grant me the Great Sage’s powers.
From then on, I take the White Bone Demon along as my pet and begin exploring this world: venturing into the Arctic ice prison to save the remnant soul of Zhu Wuneng, and searching for the skull prayer beads of Sha Wujing at Flaming Mountain...
All these terrifying adventures are meant to uncover the truth about that bygone era, and the secrets hidden beneath the Earth!
I believe that science ends in myth, and myth ends in science!
I really like to see the sections explained by science, especially the physical exorcisms. The dog-beating stick is an electric baton. The Dragon Palace in myth is a huge spaceship cabin. I am just waiting for the author to explain. In the past, there were mythical characters. When will I get the real golden cudgel? I'm really looking forward to it. A dog beating cudgel is so powerful. Also, if the Dragon Palace of the South China Sea was discovered, when will the Dragon Palace of the East China Sea be discovered?
The White Bone Demon was actually discovered on the bottom of the sea, and I'm looking forward to it more and more.
It's good to read, and it gets more exciting as you go to the end. This is a slow-burning book. The climax starts only at the beginning of the fourth chapter, and it continues to climax all the way, especially the part about the White Bone Demon's resurrection, which made my hair stand on end.
