[Slow-Burn + Alternate History + Farming + Development + Conquest + System]
Yun Wenlan is lucky enough to become one of the transmigrators, sent by an unknown being to an alternate world, where she runs into one of her college classmates.
With a man and a woman working together, the two engineering graduates steadily build their way up: establishing an economy, reforming the military, developing industry, farming and gathering resources, and recruiting talented ministers and generals. Soon, they are vying with others for control of the realm.
Mountain barbarians?
Eight hundred balloons cross the mountain pass. What do you say to bombs dropping right on your face?
Sea raiders?
Crossbow carts, cannon carts, rocket carts. We’ll crush you with firepower, so get in the water!
Steppe cavalry?
Pistols, rifles, machine guns. Hand over your cattle and sheep, nice and easy!
And the rivals on the Central Plains?
A hunting dog on my left, a falcon on my right, brocade cap and sable coat: a thousand cannons sweep the hills flat!
This is a slow-burning novel, especially since it uses at least a dozen pictures to set the stage. You can get acquainted with the author's brainwaves after reading more than 20 chapters, but the first ten or so chapters have a solid feel and you can just push through them (ᖛ ̫ ᖛ )ʃ) It's a good novel. If possible, I'd better change the first ten or so pictures to give a different feel, otherwise it will miss a lot of people. Come on, author, come on! Reform can be divided into lower sections, it's too crowded
I recommend you give it a try. After reading the foreshadowing in the first 10 chapters, things get much better after that. There are no clichés.
Looks good, I'm used to it
