Siheyuan: I, He Yuzhu, Take a Wife from the Start

In an old Beijing hutong, a warm kang awaits at home, with his wife and children gathered around him. With big pots and little stoves, everyone shows off their skills, using cooking techniques such as frying, stir-frying, roasting, steaming, stewing, and braising. He Yu transmigrates through time and space to become He Yuzhu, a man with the same name, and goes from being an ordinary factory canteen cook to a master chef in Beijing. Together with his wife Wen Li, he weathers half a century of ups and downs, sharing every season of life.
