P.S. When I first decided to write this Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace fanfic, I really disliked Ruyi. Maybe it was because I’d watched all those videos online. But to write the story well, I watched the drama and read the original novel. After finishing them, my feelings changed. I still found the drama somewhat irritating, because the heroine seemed too high and mighty, but while reading the novel, I also felt sorry for her. Taking both versions into account, I realized Ruyi wasn’t all that annoying after all. Still, now that I’ve decided to start this book, I want to keep writing it. I’m writing from memory, so it may not be perfect, but it’s still a labor of love, and this is my first long-form work. I hope my readers will be kind to me. Thank you so much.
