The Madman's Daily Life: His Moonlight Ran Away, and He Wept in Despair

【Amnesiac, unhinged husband + heroine who thrives on her own + older woman-younger man romance】 After transmigrating into the body of the Marquis's First Wife, a woman as bland as a chrysanthemum who knows only vegetarian meals, prayers, wooden fish, and Buddhist prayer beads, Sheng Mingyue is completely at a loss. Watching her marquis husband cradle his beloved while holding a sword to the throat of his cinnabar mole, Sheng Mingyue starts spinning her prayer beads faster. Unexpectedly, that night her marquis husband, caught in a love triangle, comes to her room and whines, “Sister, my head hurts.” “Sister, could you recite the scriptures for me?” Sheng Mingyue thinks: What a complete lunatic! Just after the marquis husband leaves, her inseparable bodyguard grabs her by the throat and snaps, “Where's the antidote?” And so Sheng Mingyue's days begin: her lunatic husband comes to her room every day calling her “Sister,” while her bodyguard grabs her by the throat demanding the antidote. The marquis husband often tells her, “Sister, there's always a figure appearing in my mind. I can't see her face. I think I've lost my memory.” Sheng Mingyue thinks: Sigh, maybe I should save up and run away! When the bodyguard convulses like he's having an epileptic fit and coughs up blood, Sheng Mingyue thinks: Maybe I should save up and run away! Just as Sheng Mingyue is working hard to save money, her amnesiac husband goes off the rails. He imprisons his beloved, slaps his cinnabar mole, takes a maid as a concubine, and brings an invalid in mourning clothes into the manor as another concubine, embarking on a journey of replacing one substitute with another. Sheng Mingyue thinks: I've saved enough. Time to run!
