In the Primordial World, as chaos first emerged, the mighty Pangu created heaven and earth, then transformed into all things. Dao Ancestor Hongjun was born in accordance with destiny and became the supreme ruler of the Primordial World. He preached to all living beings, and the Three Pure Ones, Laozi, Yuanshi Tianzun, and Tongtian Jiaozhu, were his personal disciples. Each founded a sect and made a name for themselves throughout the Primordial World. Yet for some unknown reason, Hongjun made the Three Pure Ones split up, sowing discord among them. Later, Lin Feng resolved their misunderstandings, and together they defeated the corrupted Hongjun.
