Trapped in a Melodramatic Short Drama, I Use Mysticism to Tear Up the Script

Yan Su, the Demon God of Cangming, had been a demon god for more than ten thousand years. Just saying she was tired left her too exhausted to say anything else. Hiding away in modern society, she spent her days binge-watching shows, ordering takeout and shopping on PDD, living a reclusive, lie-flat life with no socializing. Her will was gradually eroded by sugary drinks and spicy crayfish, and she decided to spend a few more years lying low in this modern world where technology and spending money were the keys to happiness. Then the fox spirit downstairs tried to survive her heavenly tribulation and installed a lightning rod outside Yan Su's window. One bolt later, Yan Su was a little dazed.

She had been struck into a melodramatic short drama recommended by her phone's smart feed. The moment she arrived, her vicious mother-in-law slapped her in front of a crowd. Yan Su thought it was hilarious. Someone in this world actually dared to slap her. She looked at her hands, already itching to move. Oh no, she couldn't control her urge to slap someone!

She wasn't the original host, who enjoyed being abused. Since she couldn't leave without following the plot to the end, she decided to use her heaven-defying magic to tear the plot apart first. With a sharp tongue and a ruthless hand, she turned her fortunes around with the help of mystic arts. But then she discovered that the original host bore the divine-eye birthmark of her own Demon God Hall. She began to gradually recover the memories she had lost before ascending to godhood, and slowly uncover the secrets hidden behind the original host.
