The protagonist is Zhao Mu, who transmigrates to the State of Zhao at the end of the Warring States period and becomes King Wuling of Zhao. He governs with diligence, promotes numerous generals, and drives the State of Qin back to its former state. He also promotes several scholars, boosts national trade, and wins a great victory over Qi in a trade war, amassing enormous wealth for the coming war.
