The General’s Wife Is as Beautiful as a Flower

Upright, tough, devoted top x proud, adorable, tempting bottom.

The Shen family had a son named Shen Yishuang. He was always getting into mischief and often visited brothels and taverns. People in the capital shook their heads: “What a disgrace to Lord Shen's family.”

The Gu family had a son named Gu Yuanjia. He practiced martial arts every day and won one battle after another for Great Zhou. With him around, the people of Great Zhou had nothing to fear. The people of the capital nodded approvingly: “Like father, like son. The Marquis of Gu has a fine boy.”

Yet these two men, as different as can be, were promised to each other after their families met and formed a marriage alliance.

The people of the capital were incredulous.

Shen Yishuang, who had sneaked out to have fun, was incredulous.

Gu Yuanjia, returning victorious from battle, was incredulous.

Shen/Gu: “Are you kidding me?! I object!”

Both families: “Objection overruled.”

And so Shen Yishuang somehow ended up married into the Gu household, while Gu Yuanjia somehow came home with a husband.
