From autumn and winter to spring and summer, this is a story about two couples growing closer in everyday life, slowly falling in love and staying by each other's sides.
Peis Luo is a leopard beastman with the traditional beliefs of an old city-state, while Fei Er is a traditional female beastman raised according to old customs. Their lives change in small ways after Peis Luo is reborn.
But even after being reborn, Peis Luo remains a traditional beastman. He's arrogant, sticks to the rules, and has no interest in understanding female beastmen.
But he's fiercely protective of his own. The only effect being reborn has on him is that he brings Fei Er into his circle of protection. Nobody gets to bully him.
Side couple: Ya Sa and Xi Er, a beastman who keeps testing the boundaries of being a scumbag, and a female beastman who's been hurt and no longer dares to pursue love.
Ya Sa likes Ke Li Er and has pursued her for four years, trying to work his way into every little part of her life. It isn't until Xi Er comes along that he realizes his one-sided devotion and lack of expectations come from never having experienced someone doing the same for him.
That leaves him torn, but fortunately, in the end, he seizes his chance.
