An Unhealed Regret: Wei Ying Finds a Family

While watching The Untamed, I felt there were too many regrets. Wei Ying and Lan Zhan went through so much, and it was a shame that Lan Huan ultimately had to seclude himself and never emerge again. Nie Huaisang had to shoulder the whole Nie clan alone; even as he sought revenge, he had to be cautious at every turn, earning himself the nickname “Knows Nothing.” Wen Qing had a healer's kind heart, yet in the end she was reduced to ashes. Wen Ning had a pure and innocent heart, yet ultimately became a fierce corpse known as the Ghost General. Thinking about it, their endings were just too tragic.

In Volume One, what kind of ending would there have been if Wei Ying's parents had both been alive, and he had the support of family and friends who shared his ideals?
