Synopsis

In the final years of the Eastern Han dynasty, the imperial court was corrupt and Emperor Ling, Liu Hong, knew the dynasty could not endure. He tried to ban wandering knights in an effort to maintain social order. Would you be a great hero who saves the world and aids the poor, standing against the imperial court, or live your whole life in obscurity? Let us view the entire Three Kingdoms era through the eyes of an ordinary person. This book will follow the historical timeline as closely as possible, keeping events plausible and accurate. The characters have been reimagined: Lü Bu might reflect on himself at midnight before making an offering, while Cao Mengde might be guided above all by benevolence. The book strives to portray its characters as flesh-and-blood people. I hope you enjoy it.
