[Historical romance, no transmigration, enemies reunited, plot-focused, secondary couple]
[One-on-one romance, both leads untouched, forced marriage swap, love after marriage, devoted husband, medical skills, powerful leads, a strong team.]
Male lead:
Shui Muqian, Prince Chu'an, who commands a powerful army and was once the second prince, is a casualty of the power struggle. Though his legs are crippled, he isn't brutal, brooding, or sly. He's optimistic and determined! “I don't want to be crown prince. I just want to do something practical for the people and the country!” He's gentle and devoted only to Xi Jing: a loyal, husband-material puppy!
Female lead:
Xi Jing has extraordinary medical skills, a forthright nature, and a perceptive mind. “Who killed my brother? Come out and die!” She's a devoted sister. The prince's disability is no problem; she knows medicine! Schemes are no problem either; the truth will eventually come to light!
Her father is the Minister of Revenue, her mother is the sister of the current Grand General, and her older brother was the male lead's study companion. He died in the war against the Xiongnu and was later accused of treason and colluding with the enemy during the campaign, leading to the male lead's legs being crippled.
The female lead has just one goal: clear her brother's name and bring the truth to light, and maybe find herself a sweet romance along the way.
Okay, okay, a bit like a heroine.
