Driven Mad by Haters, the Author Goes Off the Rails Every Day

(Warning: The author goes off the rails on a regular basis, and you might get caught in the crossfire. Enter at your own risk. If you wander in and get yelled at, don’t blame me, or I’ll keep yelling at you. There will be romance, arguments, angst, and satisfying moments (the author will enjoy them; whether you do or not doesn’t matter).)

Push an author too hard and they’ll have their fun; then they’ll go crazy, botch the ending, and leave the story unfinished. The author’s headed for a fiery funeral.

Lin Qingmo has been reborn. In her previous life, as a web-novel author, she read the scathing online reviews and secretly cried every night, constantly doubting herself. She relentlessly put her heroine through misery, killed off the male lead everyone adored, and was accused of plagiarism. In the end, her readers drove her mad.

This time around...

“This author thinks she can write a novel with prose like that? Even an elementary school essay is better.”

“My prose is trash, but at least I have no shame. If you’re not going to write it yourself, does that mean you don’t want to? Oh, you must be more concerned about your dignity. Otherwise, why would you be so shameless? My prose is trash, but you’re trash.” Lin Qingmo rubbed her wrist, looking perfectly elegant.

“Has the author gone crazy? Did that hit a nerve?”

Lin Qingmo brushed back her hair and kept typing: “The author’s gone crazy, and you’ve got a leek stuck up your pig’s nose. The author’s hit a nerve, and your partner is going to have a lover on the side every day.”

Just as Lin Qingmo seemed to be going further and further off the rails, she never expected her cold-blooded fiancé in this life to be so much like the male lead she had written in her previous life. Could he have been reborn too?

What, did he come back for revenge after she wrote him to his death?

No, wait. He’s just a character on a page...
