Qiao Meixi is a scientist dedicated to studying the combination of the human body and machinery. She loses consciousness during a scientific experiment and awakens in this post-apocalyptic world, where she becomes a cleanup worker at a relief station, tasked with clearing away rotting corpses.
This body of unknown origin possesses invincible superpowers, allowing her to carve a path through the apocalypse and confront or join forces with powerful factions. From abandoned factories and mines to battlefields where warlords vie for supremacy, all the way to conquering the universe and building new planets in space, she finds teamwork and friends everywhere.
At the end of her journey, she discovers that the identity of the body she has relied on is far from simple, and that her arrival here was no accident.
