On the Day of Our Engagement, My Girlfriend Ran Off to Celebrate Her First Love's Birthday

On the day of our engagement, my fiancee ran off to celebrate her first love's birthday.

When I tried to stop her, she looked impatient.

"We can hold the engagement banquet any day, but he only has one birthday a year!"

"Stop making a fuss!"

Later, when her best friend took her place as the bride, she panicked.

"Are you going to ruin the wedding we worked so hard to prepare, all over a birthday?!"

I shook off her hand. "He only has one birthday a year. You'd better not miss it!"
