A character-driven ensemble story about competitive sports.
One National Games changed the paths four people chose in life.
Ruan Qing: Her road may be slow, but she has no regrets.
Jiang Yang: In the world of racing, he meets a girl who takes time to warm up.
Shi Lin: A prodigy who keeps getting back up, again and again.
Xie Qi: On the road of pursuit, all he can be is a teammate.
The close bond between two prodigies brings together people who otherwise would have had little reason to cross paths. Table tennis player Ruan Qing and medley champion Shi Lin met as children and reunited at university. Though they spent little time together, each came to occupy the most important place in the other's life.
Through that connection, swimmer Jiang Yang meets Ruan Qing, who spends every day playing ping-pong. The girl who doesn't like water finds her way into the heart of a boy as calm as water. She likes the quiet beneath the water; he likes her quiet nature.
And what is the right-handed duo, who unexpectedly became Ruan Qing's mixed doubles partners, really thinking...
Shi Lin will always be Ruan Qing's favorite friend.
