Detective Conan: Another Day Envious of Rei Furuya

Also known as The Moon and the Rose (the title cannot be changed after signing the contract)

[Female protagonist + no romance for the protagonist + secondary couples + feel-good power fantasy + everyday-life redemption]

A flower shop in Shibuya always receives a visitor in winter. According to the shop assistant, she comes to visit a friend who loves flowers.

Yes, a friend.

Friends are like two moons hanging high in the sky, their bright light shining impartially over all the world, good and evil alike.

Haruno Arashi dreamed of a clock without hands.

Rum selected another batch of newcomers to join the organization, and Haruno Arashi picked up a few of their files.

Interesting.

When would she finally get to retire? She was getting a little tired.

But having some fun to watch was... not bad, either?

Important:

1. The protagonist is complex, with no romance plot.

2. The secondary couples are two childhood-friend pairs from the police academy group. (I'd really like to write affectionate gestures like kissing, but I'm a little scared to...)

3. No tragic deaths, shifting viewpoints, an everyday-life redemption story with an ensemble focus. Characterization reflects my personal interpretation, so expect some OOC moments.

4. Expect lots of original characters and original plotlines. The protagonist is a native of the world, not someone who transmigrated. She is not invincible, and there is no System.

5. Please don't ask why some characters have personalities that differ from the original. Different experiences naturally lead to changes.

(If all the author wanted was to change one ending, there'd be no need to spend so much effort on it. The character could simply show up at the crucial moment. As someone who truly exists in that world, naturally they would have countless connections with others, like the classic six degrees of separation.)
