Unbelievable, I Got Paired with My Mortal Enemy

[Two male leads + fake couple promotion turns into real romance + showbiz + one-on-one romance]

Newcomer Xia Yuxing has been branded a “pretty vase” in show business. Determined to redeem himself and shed the label, he works tirelessly on his acting until a renowned director takes notice and casts him as one of the two male leads in a drama.

But things go wrong from the start: the other male lead is Jiang Hanzhou, his high school desk mate and sworn rival. Xia Yuxing grits his teeth and puts up with it.

What he never expected was that they’d not only play a couple on screen, as kindred spirits, but also have to promote themselves as a couple off screen, keeping up a steady stream of flirty little moments. In the end, even Xia Yuxing, who’d been straight his whole life, bends.

Xia Yuxing: Who on earth ships such a hard-to-believe couple?!

Hanxing shippers: We do! They’re so good together, we can’t get enough!

Xia Yuxing: Shipping everything will only ruin you!

Hanxing: Shipping everything just keeps us nutritionally balanced.

Manager: I ship it…

Jiang Hanzhou: I ship it…

Xia Yuxing: I’ll behave. Please let me go…

P.S. There will be some scenes from their high school days.

The showbiz storyline will also include promotional interactions with other characters.
