No One Came to Save Me

I had cancer for five years. Just as I was preparing to give up on life, I met Qi Jue.

“Even if nobody else likes you, I’ll always like you!”

Those words were like a beam of light, saving me from the darkness.

I’d never been popular, and he was the only one willing to show me a little kindness.

So I loved him without hesitation, lowering myself into the dust for his sake.

But then he told someone else:

“Who would like a sick woman like that? I only played along to tease her because I lost a dare.”
