Genshin Impact: As the First-Generation Thunder Dragon, I Was Somehow Assimilated

I am Rex, the Primordial Thunder Dragon. I should have been second only to the one dragon above me and stood above all living things. But the Primordial War shattered everything, and I fell into a deep slumber...

I awoke during the Archon War. I should have looked down on everything, but under the influence of the Archons around me, I gradually found myself becoming like them. This once-lonely dragon came to have people I loved and people who loved me. No one can say what I’ll become if they keep changing me.

But the pride of my dragonkind will not let me live on under the rule of the Heavenly Principles. So I’ll gather the old clans, join forces with the Seven Nations, and raise the banner of rebellion against the Heavenly Principles. Yet the Abyss is stirring as well. Can I lead all life in this age of three-way conflict?

Me: As the first Thunder Dragon King, I will lead a new era. Heavenly Principles, it’s time I took your seat. And the Abyss? You’re invaders here. Take even one inch of my land, and I’ll wipe you out.

Note: This story includes the original game storyline. If you don’t want to read the game’s main plot, start from Chapter 39. However, I recommend starting from the beginning so the characters and story won’t feel jarring.
