[Cthulhu] + [Infinite Flow] + [Time Reversal] + [All Kinds of Urban Legends]
The mysterious lurks in the shadows of the city, and evil gods are woven into the rules of society. The lucky may go their whole lives without encountering such troubles. The unlucky die in those disasters. But the most unfortunate are those who survive them.
To escape the constraints of his family, Li Zhi follows his friend to Xinhai Oil Well, where he unexpectedly encounters a shipwreck that defies scientific explanation. Unluckily for him, he is the sole survivor. To stay alive, he has no choice but to return to the past and search for the disaster’s origins and the truth behind it. People like him are known as interdimensional investigators.
“This is the most painful, most revolting profession I’ve ever seen. Once you become an investigator, you’ll have no choice but to face disgusting, inhumane, immoral, and unspeakable situations. These horrible yet bewitching things will gradually change your thoughts and your mind. The more you gain from Them, the more you’ll lose.”, Mr. Wu, the First Investigator.
