Love Needs No Excuse

[One heroine: Asta! One heroine, one heroine, one heroine!]

[I wrote this Asta story purely out of love. I'm writing it just for fun. I was afraid my friends would find it in my notebook and laugh at me, so I posted it on a website where nobody knows who I am~

Please don't flame me if it's not to your taste. If the plot hits a nerve, please leave and remove the book from your library. Please be patient with updates; they will come. The author writes each chapter for personal enjoyment first, and only posts it afterward. What you read may differ from what the author originally wanted to write, since it's been revised many times to keep it from going too far off track and to fit the original Honkai: Star Rail story as closely as possible. Please forgive any typos. The author will carefully consider each character's personality before writing them into the story.]

Ling Yin was preparing for graduate school entrance exams when an ember from his roommate's cigarette floated onto his draft paper...

A massive fire took Ling Yin's life and brought him to a world ruled by an autocrat. Fortunately, he was born in a self-sufficient little town, where he spent a happy childhood with his parents...

Sadly, during the rebellion caused by visitors from beyond the stars, his parents were killed by the rebels. His younger sister was murdered right before his eyes, too. Just as the rebels were about to kill Ling Yin, a man wielding a greatsword drove them back. That was the first time Ling Yin saw his angel.

A grand scheme was also unfolding around Ling Yin...

The second time he saw her, she left aboard a spaceship.

The third time...

The fourth time...

Many years later, Ling Yin found his angel again. She was as beautiful as ever, and he had resolved every problem.

He took her hand and asked softly,

"Will you marry me?"

"Sure~"
