I love Cao Qinmo the most in The Legend of Zhen Huan, and I love Rong Yin and Su Jinghao the most in Story of Yanxi Palace. They even had Chunhou. I really like characters who try their best to improve and who also appreciate their opponents (such as Shushen). The plot is also quite smooth. Also, it would be better to refine Cao Qinmo's emotional change towards Rong Yin (of course the original work is also very good)
