In the book, Darcy reflects on himself and gets rid of his arrogance because of his failure to express his love. Elizabeth discovered and changed her prejudice against Darcy because of her misunderstanding. In the end, the two became a couple and lived happily.
This book is very interesting and allowed me to see the different kinds of love and marriage in society at that time. I admire Elizabeth's intelligence and independence. She did not shrink back because of Darcy's arrogance, nor did she miss true love because of her own prejudices. Darcy's sentence "My arrogance prevents me from loving others, and other people's prejudice prevents me from loving myself" is really thought-provoking. This book tells us that only by letting go of our pride and prejudice can we see true humanity and beautiful love.
