“Do I have to put on a fake front like you, Class Rep? Don't make me laugh! Is someone like that even worth protecting?”
“My children haven't let me down. No matter how small their contributions, they are doing their part for our country and the world... It's just a shame I won't live to see your future...”
“When the beast tide comes, no one can stay out of it. If this is my duty, then I will go where it leads.”
“Poochyena, if you think the road ahead is full of flowers, then I'll follow you and carve a path through the darkness!”
Chu Sheng returns from another world to the real one and enrolls at his alma mater, Advanced Nurturing High School, where he receives his first Dark-type Pokemon, Poochyena.
At Advanced Nurturing High School, Chu Sheng is assigned to a class full of youthful energy that was once Class B but has since fallen to Class D. There, he meets Sakayanagi Arisu, Ichinose Honami, Hachiman Hikigaya, Yan Chi, Hayama, and others.
To uncover a message from his future self, Chu Sheng begins a school life unlike anyone else's.
