A Love Letter Through Time: From School Uniforms to Ivory Towers

This novel is based on real-life experiences. The heroine, Xin Xin, and the hero, Liu Yu, first bonded in their freshman year of high school through a debate competition organized by their Chinese teacher. From then on, the hero was devoted to her. During college, the heroine fell in love with Zhu Yiping. Liu Yu flew a great distance to confess his feelings, only to be rejected. After that, he continued to keep an eye on her from afar, but didn’t dare disturb her. The heroine was eventually moved by Liu Yu’s quiet devotion. After they got together, they went through several breakups and reconciliations: she got pregnant and considered an abortion; disagreements over the details of their wedding nearly broke them up; after their child was born, they had no one to care for the baby; and she argued with her mother-in-law during her postpartum confinement. While caring for the child at her parents’ home, she was attacked by gossip and looked down on by her own mother. Later, his lack of ambition nearly led to divorce. But with their deep bond as a foundation, they stumbled forward hand in hand and reached their ivory wedding anniversary. Today, they have two daughters. Their life is ordinary, yet it shines with its own light!
