A biological virus outbreak is suspected in a remote, abandoned city. An advance team is sent to investigate, and confirms the virus outbreak. None of them survive. The authorities order a nuclear strike to seal off and monitor the area. Who could have guessed that a year later, a distress signal from the advance team would come from the city...
The Special Intelligence Bureau of the XT organization receives intelligence suggesting that something is amiss and that the TG organization is deeply involved. There may be a plot at work, so they send ace agent Li Shu to lead a team and investigate the source of the distress signal.
After entering the abandoned city, Li Shu discovers as he ventures deeper that things are not so simple. The nuclear strike did not fully resolve the biological virus outbreak, and zombies are everywhere. It seems that an unseen hand is manipulating everything. In the end, Li Shu escapes death under the desperate cover of his teammates, carrying out crucial intelligence.
A few months later, a biological crisis sweeps the globe, plunging the world into an apocalypse and igniting a battle for survival. The XT and TG factions are eventually forced to join hands to resist, while an even greater crisis gradually comes to light.
