The Blessed Empress

The current Imperial Consort was infertile and couldn't stand hearing the word “child.”

My younger sister was playing in the street and nearly ran into the Imperial Consort, who was traveling incognito.

Father stopped her in time and said just one thing: “The child doesn't know any better. I hope Your Ladyship won't take offense...”

The Imperial Consort flew into a rage and ordered her guards to behead my father and sister on the spot.

That night, Mother hanged herself in despair, while I secretly entered the palace carrying my father and sister's bloodied heads.
