The Imperial Tutor Must Not Be Deceived

A reborn Imperial Tutor who just wants to slack off VS a black-lotus, loyal-dog Emperor who takes the lead

The young Chancellor holds power over the court. His reform orders earn him the ire of many officials, and corrupt ministers join forces to frame him for treason. In the end, the very Emperor he raised from childhood orders his execution.

Given another life, Zhou Heng wants to become an idle official and spend his remaining years in peace. Then a young boy barges into his life and upends everything.

One is a down-and-out prince, feared by the Emperor because of his Southern Border witch-clan heritage and tormented in the imperial harem.

The other is an easygoing civil servant who takes a little brat on as his student.

Even more absurdly, this student is always watching him with hungry eyes.

“If you become Emperor, you have to grant me one request.”

“Of course.”
