On her way back to the dorm with her roommate at noon, Yang Yiqing was caught in a sudden downpour under what had been a clear, sunny sky.
The rainwater surged, flooding the first floor in an instant.
Trapped in the dorm with no way to call for help, the four girls were all struck by high fevers after getting soaked.
When they woke up, they found that the world had changed.
The kind-faced teacher they had known was now a monster lunging at them.
With danger closing in, Yang Yiqing decided to calm her nerves with a bowl of instant noodles before figuring out what to do next.
She never expected that, as they went along, more and more people would gather around her, each one looking at her with stars in their eyes.
Help! At first, she only wanted to keep her friends and family alive.
But so many people chose to follow her, and even a golden snub-nosed monkey tagged along.
She was sure she looked cold and unapproachable!
