The Aloof O’s OOC: Which Hero Do You Want to Be, Bro?

[Main couple: forceful, celibate, dark-skinned coach x melancholic, devoted, aloof beauty; side couple: righteous cross-dressing streamer x scheming, obsessive researcher] Main couple: Chen Luning VS Jin Yin After the farewell banquet on the night of their university graduation, Jin Yin cut off all contact with Chen Luning. He wouldn’t associate with any of their mutual friends either. He simply disappeared. It took Chen Luning two years to understand his feelings for Jin Yin. That chaotic night had been more of a catalyst for him. He knew Jin Yin wouldn’t accept him, but he was already in too deep, no longer the person he’d been before. So when he saw Jin Yin again, he cast aside the pride he’d always been so proud of. All Chen Luning could think about was keeping him by his side. “I can’t stand the thought of us never having anything to do with each other again.” Jin Yin said with a troubled look, “Drinking… I’m no good at it.” Yet when he got drunk, he picked people out at a food stall without a care, tugging at Chen Luning and mumbling in confusion, “You… look good…” Just like he had on the night of their university graduation banquet two years ago. Back then, Jin Yin hadn’t yet grown into the mature man he was now. He was still young, inexperienced, and loved to fool around. He had a wide circle of friends, and Chen Luning’s classmates often invited him to parties. Chen Luning had seen him many times, but never once had he seen him drink. He was considerate and talkative. He wasn’t exactly good at keeping a proper distance, but Chen Luning didn’t mind his single-minded closeness. So when drunk Jin Yin had thrown himself at him alone on the night of the graduation banquet, his shameless dependence and uninhibited affection had made the onlookers laugh and thrown Chen Luning’s thoughts into disarray. Jin Yin drunkenly kept telling him how good-looking he was, until Chen Luning, who wasn’t much of a social butterfly to begin with, couldn’t stay there any longer. Jin Yin stubbornly followed him around, and Chen Luning’s heart softened, so he took him home.
