Journey to the West: General Duanmu

[Multiple protagonists] [Journey to the West] [Honghuang] [Transmigration] [Heavenly realms converge] [General Duanmu]

While pursuing the Oxyers, General Duanmu was sucked into a black hole by a stroke of fate and transported to the world of Journey to the West. He arrived just in time for the calamity of Sun Wukong, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, being trapped beneath Five Elements Mountain. From then on, he joined Tang Sanzang and his disciples on their journey west.

Tang Sanzang: “Wukong, why did you kill them?”

Sun Wukong: “Master, if you don’t get rid of evil people, they’ll only harm the good!”

General Duanmu: “I can’t be bothered to explain this to you. You’re not fit to hear it. If you’re a monster (or a villain) today, you’ll be one for the rest of your life!”

Next, General Duanmu trained Tang Sanzang until he became Tang Sanzang the Undertaker. (Actually, Tang Sanzang the Undertaker is also a transmigrator. He was pretending all along and likes to play the pig to eat the tiger.)

Tang Sanzang the Undertaker: “This holy monk shall bury heaven, bury earth, and bury all living things! Disciples, if you don’t pull out the roots, the weeds will grow back with the spring breeze. Search carefully, every last corner!”

“Eating this holy monk will make you immortal and let you attain the Dao. Want to take a bite?”

Sun Wukong: “Old Jade Emperor, get down here! Emperors take turns on the throne, and next year it’ll be my turn!”

Zhu Bajie: “General Duanmu, I’d call you the ultimate monster-killing machine!”

Sha Wujing: “General Duanmu is here! Prepare to die!”

The monsters: “Run for your lives! The monster-killing machine, General Duanmu, is here to catch and eat us again!”

“Do you think I look like an Armor Hero who kills the innocent indiscriminately? You evil demons and monsters, are you innocent? I don’t think so! Let’s play a game. We’ll bet on whether there are scallions in this beef noodle soup. If there are, you all die. If there aren’t, I’ll let you go!”

“I don’t eat beef…”
