If you can't accept a protagonist who can stand up to, or even overpower, the original factions, this isn't for you. This story is all about "absolute power" and "fighting for control". Romance is simply out of the question.
There are also lots of original characters, to make sense of the twisted history in these universes... Just treat it as an alternate universe. It's a crossover, after all.
