Qin Jiu wakes up in the wasteland with the storage ring her Fourth Sister left her and sets out to brave the wasteland (not really). There, she meets Gu Baijing, the leader of a mercenary squad, and his team. They go from testing and mistrusting one another to placing their trust in each other and offering mutual support. Together, they resist the malice closing in from outside and build a base of their own.
