The Consort Is Sweet-Tongued and Treacherous, and Ruyi Can't Defend Herself

Main character: Bai Ruiji Warnings: Ruyi gets put through the wringer, everyone else gets brutalized, and no one is spared. Why enter the palace if not to fight for power? She’s ruthless and will slaughter her way through the harem. Jin Zhong × Bai Ruiji, with a romance subplot but a self-serving heroine. The System’s golden finger doesn’t play a major role. After Bai Ruiji dies, she wanders the palace. Reborn with the full story in hand and armed with a Scholar Who Doesn’t Fall in Love System, she becomes the emperor’s favorite. Without Ruyi Syndrome, Bai Ruiji suddenly realizes that not a single consort in the harem is a real threat. Jin Yuyan? A laughable love-struck fool. Wei Yanwan? Mostly just lucky. Hailan? If she has no interest in winning the emperor’s favor, what is there to fear? Ruyi? She had the protagonist’s halo and still ended up like that… As for everyone else, she takes them out in an instant! In her previous life, she was sharp-tongued. This time, she’s sweet-talking but ruthless, keeping the emperor wrapped around her little finger. Isn’t he just a lecher? With looks this stunning, she can handle you. Doesn’t he love lecturing people? The Scholar System will let you enjoy all the paternalistic fun you want. Isn’t he just stubborn and arrogant? A few well-placed compliments will have your tail wagging. First she becomes the emperor’s favorite, then she gives birth to his first child after he ascends the throne, rising higher and higher as if she has cheat codes. In this life, she won’t put up with the slightest grievance. She pays back every slight and charges straight ahead! Bai Ruiji looks down at Ruyi, who kneels with her lips pursed, frozen in shock. “You can’t explain yourself? That’s your problem. So what? I’m sweet as honey and poisonous as a blade. I’m not going to go easy on you!” Watch Ruyi’s mistress slaughter her way through the harem! No one gets away! Additional note: This is an alternate take. In the original drama, Hailan transmigrated into the book and helped Ruyi to follow the plot. In this story, she has also transmigrated into the book, but has no memories of her previous life.
