When a creature dies, the magic power within the body will escape to the outside world and eventually gather together.
When too much magic power accumulates in an area, a dungeon core will be created underground.
When the core is born, a huge cavity will expand underground, and a large amount of magic power will overflow, forming a building in the cavity. The core will continue to absorb the magic power of nature to form a highly concentrated area.
The overflowing magic power floating high in the sky will condense into thick dark clouds that cannot be dispersed, while more magic power will be combined with the magic power of dead creatures in the dungeon to form various monsters.
In order to prevent and respond to the associated disasters caused by core generation, various countries have jointly established an organization called the Lighthouse. They set up magic-burning lighthouses in various places to reduce the concentration of environmental magic power, and at the same time recruit a large number of adventurers to enter the dungeon.
Hoping to break the core to dissipate the magic and disperse the clouds to light up the sky, these adventurers who carry lanterns deep into the dungeons are called lamplighters.
And these are just the stories of a few ordinary lamplighters.
