The male lead, Fu Xingli, and the female lead, Shangguan Zitian, became a couple before starting university. In their sophomore year, a new academic adviser, Lin Zimeng, arrives. She falls in love with Fu Xingli at first sight and tries everything she can to break him and Shangguan Zitian up.
