Remembering Sui An

A fan work based on The Starving Wilderness: A Thousand-Mile Journey in the Late Ming Dynasty, also known as The Starving Wilderness: Nian Sui'an

(Even if you haven't played The Starving Wilderness: A Thousand-Mile Journey in the Late Ming Dynasty, you can still read this. It isn't a continuation of the original ending, but a completely new story. The basic character concepts come from the original, with some changes, along with a custom worldbuilding setting and brand-new characters. A sweet story, no angst, and not mindless.)

I step into a virtual abyss where light and shadow intertwine, using my flesh as a brush to rewrite the threads of fate that bind you and me. Blades carve out destiny, blood and tears temper our choices, and in the end, we stitch the shattered ending into a river of stars. The predetermined final chapter collapses in the palm of my hand, collapsing into the dawn of a new beginning.
