The story takes place in a small village called Jiulongbao in the northwest of Zhucheng, Shandong. During the Anti-Japanese War, the traitor Zhang Maochun had an affair with Lin Pinger, the daughter-in-law of Du Zhongyun, a small landlord in the village and a private school teacher. Even though the private school teacher was at home, Zhang Maochun still arrogantly drove him to the door and slept in the main room with his arms around someone else's daughter-in-law!
In September 1945, the day after the Japanese were driven away from Zhucheng by the Eighth Route Army, taking advantage of the turmoil, the private school teacher's son Du Yaowu and his nephew Du Yaowen abducted the traitors to Mammangou behind Jiulongbao Village and tortured them in every possible way. They first cut off their genitals and then executed them late.
After the traitor Zhang Maochun died, Lin Ping'er wrapped him in sackcloth and mourned him, and died in the mourning hall! Before she died, Lin Ping'er told her son Du Yaowu that she and Zhang Maochun were childhood sweethearts. It was Du Yaowu's father, Du Zhongyun, who had taken possession of her body. She and Zhang Maochun did so voluntarily and without force.
When Du Yaowu learned the truth, he didn't know where to go for a while. In grief and anger, he ran away from home, joined the Eighth Route Army on the way, and became a soldier. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he participated in the War to Resist U. S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and experienced many military exploits. Later, he hid his merit and fame and returned to his hometown to work in farming.
Later, his 8-year-old son suddenly turned into a madman in a flash of lightning and thunder at noon.
The reincarnation of heaven is unavoidable and unavoidable!
This interprets the love and hatred between the Du and Zhang families, spanning three generations!
