This is a mysterious world, a civilization both chaotic and orderly, where peoples have blended and mixed-race folk are everywhere.
The social hierarchy here is strict: rulers, the clergy, nobles, officials, police, merchants, landowners, scholars, researchers, pirates, farmers, slaves, prostitutes, blacksmiths, beggars...
Machinery is on the rise: steam engines, spinning machines, flintlock guns, sailing fleets, airships, mining, metallurgy...
And there are all sorts of mysterious folk: black and white witches, Western Mountain hunters, water guardians, mages, mountain elves, nightwalkers...
Chaos is never far away, and the human heart is hardest of all to understand. He walks the edge of death, seeking to see this world clearly. This is an experimental ground, and the setting for a grand and turbulent legend.
