Heir to the Underworld: Xia Yu of Tianmen

Xia Yu, originally named Li Tian, is 18 and a member of Tianmen, a gang company in Haizhou. After offending someone he should never have crossed, he is forced to flee to a special school in Nanwu under his new identity, Xia Yu, accompanied by two loyal underlings. But this school is an educational institution in name only: in reality, it is a training ground where Nanwu’s four major gangs groom their successors, and the gangs’ junior leaders vie for power behind the scenes. Reborn with the hard-won experience and lessons of his previous life’s gang conflicts, Xia Yu carefully navigates this perilous environment. Drawing on his memories of the future, he anticipates the moves of rival forces and deftly survives one crisis after another, while secretly recruiting talent and expanding his influence. Along the way, he meets Lin Ruoxue, the heroine, who is hiding secrets of her own. After testing each other’s intentions, they join forces to face the threats posed by the four major gangs. As his power grows, Xia Yu establishes “Thirteen of Tianmen,” a team of thirteen elite members, each with their own strengths. But his rise also draws the attention of even greater enemies, including the ultimate boss lurking behind the scenes: a mysterious figure connected to Xia Yu’s death in his previous life. Tested by power, love, and revenge, Xia Yu must unite every force at his disposal before time runs out and the coming storm arrives, while also confronting the darkness and light within himself.
