The young Taoist Lu Zizhan is born with a constitution that attracts ghosts. Seeking a sliver of hope for survival, he goes to Cunshui Village in search of an ancient tomb, only to stumble upon a cultivation vat for the apocalypse. He warns his family in advance, hoping they’ll have a chance to survive the end times. But who could have guessed that in the Age of Declining Dharma, the Five Elements would become more active than ever? Now I can cultivate, raise cats, and occasionally order around a Chinese old zombie to help my nephew rule the new breed of zombies. What a peaceful retirement!

What? You say corpses from a different system can’t be controlled?

A thousand-year-old zombie: It’s fine, it’s fine. We zombies go by who’s got the strongest fists. Words aren’t necessary.
